In the 1960’s, the Gauthier family opened their first antiques showroom in Lyon, France, in ‘La Cité des Antiquaires’ (Centre of Antique Dealers). Over the years, they have acquired furniture, paintings, mirrors, chandeliers and other pieces of art made in France in the 18th and 19th centuries, notably during the reigns of Louis XV, Louis XVI and Napoleon.

Jean Gauthier and his daughter, Sylvie, to whom he has passed on all his expertise, have now ventured to share this incredible artistic heritage.

Sylvie Gauthier, heiress to this wonderful tradition, has therefore decided to open a gallery dedicated entirely to the richest period of French art in Dubai, UAE.
